Job Summary:
As a Project Engineer at South Bay Grading, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of grading and excavation projects across the Bay Area. You’ll work closely with project managers, field teams, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, and budgeting
- Prepare and review project documentation, drawings, and reports
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and field crews
- Monitor project progress and resolve technical issues
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Support project closeout and client handover processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Previous experience in construction or civil engineering (preferred)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficient with construction software and Microsoft Office

Job Summary:
The Project Manager oversees all aspects of grading and excavation projects from inception to completion. You’ll be responsible for managing budgets, schedules, and teams to deliver successful projects for South Bay Grading’s clients.

- Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of project management experience in construction
- Proven leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
Foreman
Job Summary:
The Foreman is responsible for supervising field crews and ensuring daily operations run smoothly on grading and excavation sites. You’ll be the on-site leader, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to plans.

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in grading, excavation, or related construction work

- Knowledge of construction safety regulations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans

The Equipment Operator will operate heavy machinery such as graders, excavators, and loaders to support grading and excavation projects. You’ll ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment on various job sites.

- Valid equipment operator certifications (as required)
- Previous experience operating heavy construction equipment
- Strong attention to safety and detail
Laborer
Job Summary:
As a Laborer, you’ll assist with a variety of tasks on grading and excavation projects, supporting field crews and ensuring job sites are safe and productive.

- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Strong work ethic and reliability
